British tennis star Andy Murray was one of the brightest prospects of his time. Once part of a comparison with the big three, the Briton fell off the radar after his prolonged injuries. The 35-year-old is still competing and has had a forgettable outing in the past few months.

Recently, Netflix released a documentary following the lives of tennis players. The show is getting a decent response. However, a few people are not finding it interesting. The former Wimbledon champion Murray also took a dig at the documentary while registering his complaint regarding partiality by the Wimbledon Championships and the US Open.

Andy Murray takes a dig at Break Point

Andy Murray took to his Twitter account to react to the latest tennis documentary BreakPoint. Meanwhile, the former world number one also took a shot at the Wimbledon Championships and the US Open for not allowing similar shooting liberties during the filming of his own documentary. Here’s what he said.

“Was interesting to see the sheer volume of people following the players around the tournaments/slams. Big crews. Given all access. Stark contrast to when my documentary was getting filmed a couple years ago and Wimbledon/us open couldn’t have been any less accommodating.”

Two years ago, Amazon Prime videos made a documentary on Murray’s journey from being a top tennis player to falling off the radar due to a serious injury and the story of his comeback. Titled ‘Resurfacing’, the documentary covered Murray’s journey from 2017 to 2019.

Murray gave an update about his future

Andy Murray hasn’t performed to his caliber in the last few years. However, the Briton hasn’t given up yet and is trying his best to regain the form. However, given his age and history of injuries, the 35-year-old said that he is one big injury away from retirement.

The former world number one added that he will continue playing till his body allows it. However, if a serious injury happens in the process, then it will surely be the end of his career.
