The Australian recently praised Jannik Sinner’s incredible record in recent games and recalled his match against him at Washington Open in the doubles event.

Nick Kyrgios is currently on a break from tennis. Recovering from injury, the 26-year-old is enjoying quality time in his home country, Australia, with his close friends and family. Recently, he took to Twitter to compliment the Italian, Jannik Sinner. He has already clinched four ATP titles in Melbourne, Washington, Sofia, and European and would be definitely eyeing a fifth title at Vienna.
The Italian has won his last 18 sets on the indoor hard courts. To these extraordinary statistics, Nick Kyrgios replied, “He is another level. That’s for sure, played him in Washington doubles. Never played someone who hit the ball as hard.”

The Australian talked about their encounter during the Washington Open doubles event. In the quarter-finals of the competition, Nick Kyrgios and partner Frances Tiafoe encountered Jannik Sinner and Sebastian Korda. Sinner/Korda easily overcame the pair of Kyrgios/Tiafoe in straight-set victory 6-4, 6-4.
The match certainly left an impression on Kyrgios as he heaped massive praise on the Italian. Considering the quality of opponents that Kyrgios has faced, being the hardest hitter he’s faced is no mean feat.

Sinner at Vienna Open 2021
The Italian Jannik Sinner is currently competing at Vienna Open. In the opening round, he eased past Reilly Opelka of America. Sinner registered a straight-set win in a contest he was favorite to win. The number seven seed will now be facing Dennis Novak of Austria.
After emphatically lifting the title at European Open, Sinner will be high on confidence. Moreover, his track record on indoor hard court for the past couple of tournaments is exceptional. Sinner will be anticipating another victory over the Austrian.
