Rafael Nadal was caught on camera doing something at the United Cup 2023 that the crowd and Nadal himself couldn’t help laughing. This has been posted on Instagram, in a video titled “Nadal versus Australian wildlife”, by TennisTV. Rafa is seen doing a quick move against a very unpopular aspect of the Aussie environment. He squishes it to death, literally. Looks like Rafa could not stand this intrusion at the United Cup.
What could Rafa not stand? Well, it was a fly, of all things. The former world no.1 is seen swatting aside a fly. While witnessing the action live, the audience roared in laughter and applauded, and on Instagram, fans have been obsessed with the video. While many have extended their sympathies to Rafa and talked about their experience with Australia’s “aggressive” mosquitoes, some have trolled him for the loss on court against Cameron Norrie in 3 sets.

In his opinion, he needs these challenges to regain his momentum before the first GS tournament of the year.
