While the weather again caused a delay in the match, it wasn’t just the clouds that rained.

The match between Alcaraz and Sinner is demanding patience from the fans as it got delayed due to rain. While fans were eagerly waiting for the action to begin, they did not seem to be patient enough to wait, raining their unsatisfied thoughts on social media.

As the two of them stand to be the most dominant rising stars in the tennis scene right now, the fans counted down each second for the match to begin. However, as the match demanded more time to send the players out on the court, the fans didn’t seem to like it.

Soon as the announcements for the rain delay were made, fans from all across the globe took to social media, to express their frustration with different perspectives. Looking at some of the most eye-catching ones, a comment targeted the lack of rain prevention measures at the Indian Wells arena.

Another comment, mentioning the fact that this is just the test of patience, pointed at the upcoming tournament in Miami, a place with even more chances of facing rain delays.

A fan gave out his frustration over the tournament as this has become a repetitive incident.

Another comment, having no hold over the frustration, gave out a simple, “F*****G GREAT!”, comment, as the hype for the match between Alcaraz and Sinner is currently the thing that the fans are not looking to show patience for.

Another fan mixed his frustration with a query of how many more times this would happen at the Indian Wells.

The frustration extended to the minds of the members of the tennis community as well, with Roger Federer’s former coach Ivan Ljubicic entering the chat with a solid ask to build the ‘ROOF’.

As the whole tennis world is currently looking forward for the match to begin once again, it still remains to be seen how long will the fans have to wait for it.

The fans’s frustration isn’t just because of this particular match. Even after the tournament is taking place in the desert, the recent weather conditions haven’t really been supportive enough for the event to progress smoothly.

During the women’s semi-final match between Coco Gauff and Maria Sakkari, the crowd had to experience a delay because of similar weather conditions. While this has become a repetitive issue, the frustration levels of the fans seem to be justified. However, it still remains to be seen if the clouds spare the final showdown or serve a delay in there as well.
