Novak Djokovic, the Serbian tennis legend, has been through a lot this season. At first, he got tangled in a legal battle with the Australian Open and missed an opportunity to defend his title. Then, after sitting out of the circuit for almost the entire hard court season, he lost his form. As a result of which, Djokovic failed to safeguard his title on the clay courts of France as well.
However, in the recently concluded Wimbledon Championships, the Serb finally achieved his first Grand Slam title of the year. He outclassed the Australian tennis ace Nick Kyrgios in the finals to clinch the Wimbledon trophy. And here’s what it felt like.

Novak Djokovic expresses himself
Djokovic, after embracing his fourth consecutive Wimbledon title, felt a surge of emotions. And said, “All this with an intensity that I had never known. I tried as much as possible to push them back, but it was very painful and very emotionally draining.” (translated by google)
