The replacement for ‘The Big 3’ will never be found, but one player is a medley of them. He inculcated their best qualities and gave his own twist to those to become the best player of this generation. More often than not, Carlos Alcaraz makes headlines for not only his game but his modesty, humbleness, and easygoing nature with his peers. The world can only stop seeing Roger Federer in him when Pigs fly. After the Swiss Maestro, it is only Alcaraz who oozes the charm on and off the court.
The Spaniard’s humility stories are perpetual, and this only scores him more brownie points for as long as he continues to play, and even later. An Argentian player shared a heartwarming narrative on the Spaniard, which proves how considerate he is of others.

No level of success and education can teach the manners Carlos Alcaraz exhibits
According to the ATP Tour website, Facundo Bagnis has shed light on how the Grand Slam champion made his friend’s birthday memorable. The Argentinian recalled, “I once asked him for a birthday video for a friend. He could have told me no, ignored me or told me what day to do it on. But he responded by asking me when I had time so we could do it. I thought that was really something.”
In a practical sense, Alcaraz could have just fixed a date to do the video, but he considered the availability of Bagnis too. The Spain star treated his peers and even their friends with equal importance and made them feel validated. Bagnis said, “He was doing me a favor and ended up considering my availability.”

The 136th seed reached a verdict on the 1st seed and revealed, “It’s amazing that someone so important and so good is still so friendly, well-mannered, and correct.” This respectable act of Alcaraz resembles an uncanny similarity to how Federer helped his colleague when the ATP player decided to quit professional Tennis.

A South African player may have never returned to the court if not for Federer
In a conversation with ATP Tour, Kevin Anderson disclosed a conversation between him and the Swiss star about his retirement. Anderson said, “It was fascinating listening to him, arguably the best player of all time in terms of his ball striking, and just hearing the insights he had. It was a really cool experience. I didn’t really put that together. I think before that I was kind of thinking of, ‘Maybe I should come back.’ “
The South African wanted to retire from the game due to his physical injuries. He revealed that he never enjoyed the game and always focused on playing better. So the former 5th seed spent more time practicing than interacting with his peers. But when Federer accidentally dropped by during Anderson’s practice session, it changed things for him for the better.
