The ATP rankings
When it comes to men’s singles, ATP assigns ranking points at the end of a particular event. Further, the points a tournament carries depend on its ATP status. A tournament can range from ATP 250 to a Grand Slam, with the latter offering the highest and the former offering the least.
Though as Wimbledon banned Russian and Belarusian players, they consequentially received a ban on their ranking points for this season. Therefore, the Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic didn’t receive the 2000 points like he would’ve done in normal circumstances.
