Despite having a stellar career in tennis, Spanish great, Rafael Nadal has suffered numerous injuries over the years that have kept him away from many major tournaments. This year was another example of his injury-prone physique limiting his ability to challenge at the highest level, first at the Indian Wells and then later in the Wimbledon Championships. Despite such struggles, Nadal has won two titles at the Australian Open and Roland Garros this year. He is ahead of both Novak Djokovic and the retired Roger Federer, with his 22 major titles.

Recently, a fan pointed out the tendency of the Spaniard to point at his injuries after losing matches by bringing up his 2022 US Open campaign. It brought a slew of reactions from others, especially Djokovic fans, who slammed the Spaniard for making excuses.

It diminishes the value of their victories.
