Dominic Thiem hasn’t gotten off to a great start in the 2021 tennis season. The Austrian player failed to even make it to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open 2021 and lost in the first round of the Dubai Tennis Championships. Consequently, he dropped precious points and is now sitting in the fourth position in the ATP rankings.

In a recent interview, Dominic Thiem revealed the names of the athletes that he draws inspiration from the most.

Interestingly, in a list that consists of his idol Roger Federer, Michael Jordan, Diego Maradona, and Rafael Nadal, there was a name that he’d forgotten to add. However, later on, he not only included the icon’s name but also admitted that he would be in his top 5 athletes of all time. That athlete is none other than the golf legend, Tiger Woods.

Tiger Woods is inarguably one of the greatest athletes of all time. The American legend has won 15 professional major golf championships and 82 PGA Tour events in his career.
