Novak Djokovic has finally returned on the ATP tour after an unexpected defeat at the final of the US Open 2021. The Serb has advanced to the last 16 with a victory against Marton Fucsovics in the Paris Masters. In his press conference, Djokovic talked about the negative impact that the media has had.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion firmly stated that he’ll always stand for the right values. However, Djokovic also said that he cares about people’s feelings, but that won’t affect him in fighting for things he deems to be right.

Djokovic said, “I don’t read the news, neither on apps nor the printed versions nor have I watched the news on the TV for some years now. However, due to my presence on social media, I am exposed to the content that is present in the media. I cannot say that I am not affected – I’m human, I have emotions, and of course, I care…”
