The bobblehead features Tiafoe, wearing a wizard jersey and holding a tennis racket stenciled in the team’s colors and the base of it showcases a “Welcome to Maryland” highway sign. It’s a reference to his Hyattsville Md. roots in addition to his name. The bobblehead is one of three collectibles that Wizards fans can take home on February 10. It’s part of the team’s “For The District” series and the campaign recognizes and honors those who have made an impact and brought pride to the D.C. area.
Frances Tiafoe looked impressed with his bobblehead. He said, “Oh! Hell Yeah..and this is incredible. Honestly, serious man..love this hairband, 22. I really appreciate it. This is unbelievable. I’m super excited. You got the lined-up beard, not the rough beard, which I like. You got the haircuts, fades, and everything. This is definitely my look, this is 100% my look. You’ve done a great job.“
