Watches Beyond Timekeeping

The niche craftsmanship, the peculiar design and the engineering of luxury watches are what draw the Djoker to wristwatches. He understands intricate artistry and precision on the court, which further reflects his attention to detail in things he owns.

Watches as Reflections of Success

Over the years, Djokovic’s sponsorships have only improved. First sponsored by Audemars Piguet, the Serbian jumped into the world of luxury watches right off the bat. Now, he is sponsored by Hublot, a watchmaker who is perceived as less likeable by timepiece aficionados. The image of the Swiss brand sits well with Djokovic, as his image is slightly controversial as well.

Along with this, watches serve as symbols of success. Their careful craftsmanship and timeless design reflect the devotion, patience, and attention to detail that frequently underlay personal and professional accomplishments, making them valued emblems of achievement.

What watch does Novak Djokovic wear: Iconic watches in Djokovic’s collection

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak

Djokovic was an Audemars Piguet brand ambassador before signing with Seiko. He showed his Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver 15703ST to the world after winning the 2011 US Open. This was the first Royal Oak he wore after being chosen as the ambassador for the company. It has a diameter of 42 millimetres and a thickness of 14.1 millimetres. The market price of the watch in July 2023 is somewhere between $26,000 and $29,000.

He has also owned Audemars Piguet Millenary Chronograph 261450R, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph “The Legacy” 26378IO, and Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 26330ST, in addition to the offshore version.

After Audemars Piguet, Djokovic also served as the brand ambassador of Seiko. To celebrate their time spent together, the brand came out with a special Novak Djokovic edition. The Novak Djokovic Limited Edition combines sportiness and elegance with a brown dial, crocodile leather strap, rose-gold accents, and a black ceramic bezel.

Each watch has a unique serial number and Djokovic’s signature and is packaged in a special box that includes a personal note from Novak. It is a 3000-piece limited edition. He remained with the Japanese brand before he eventually signed on with Hublot in 2021.

Novak Djokovic now wears a watch on his wrist to every ceremony: the Hublot Big Bang. The 42mm Hublot Big Bang Unico Titanium Ceramic, with a skeleton dial, is one of the most famous Hublot timepieces in Novak Djokovic’s watch collection. Worth $20,900, the watch captures his persona. They also created the Hublot Big Bang Meca-10 for the player.

Although he did not wear a watch while competing, Djokovic wore his sporty Big Bang Meca-10 Ceramic Blue 45 mm off the court and at the French Open presentation ceremony. The micro-blasted, polished blue ceramic 45 mm case has a black and blue-lined rubber strap and is water resistant to 100 meters.
