FRUSTRATED! Novak Djokovic Breaks Racquet During Practice With Alexander Zverev at Tokyo Olympics 2020 Practice

World No.1 Novak Djokovic has reached Tokyo for the Olympic Games and so his quest for a Golden Slam has now begun. After enjoying a spectacular start to the season, he will now be eyeing the Gold medal in order to move one step close to accomplishing the Golden Calendar Slam.
Djokovic recently began his training for the Tokyo Olympics 2020 and was hitting the net with young star Alexander Zverev when something strange took place on the court.

During his training, Djoker got so angry that he smashed his racquet really hard on the court. Even though fans have witnessed him smashing racquets before, he rarely does so during his training sessions. He hit it with so much power that the racquet broke into pieces and its frame was completely disoriented.

Before this, Djokovic had smashed his racquet in his match against Stefanos Tsitsipas at the Italian Open 2021 and once at the Australian Open earlier this year.

Novak Djokovic in the 2021 tennis season
If there is one player who is on cloud nine this year, it is Djokovic. He has played amazingly well this season on all the surfaces and recently won his 20th Grand Slam title at the Wimbledon Championships 2021.

He kicked off his campaign in style after defending his Australian Open title yet again. Then, the Serbian legend played one of the best matches of his career so far and defeated Rafael Nadal in the semis of the French Open 2021. He eventually went on to win the title.

He continued his win streak at the Wimbledon Championships 2021 and defended his title there as well. Interestingly, he has earned the maximum ATP points by this time of the year and is on the top of the list. Many would even say he hasn’t had to bring his best tennis on the grass court this season.
