Greek World No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas is one of the most animated and lively athletes in tennis. Although he has had a good start this season, he has not converted any crucial matches. Leading on to that, he let his mouth run loose at a recent incident with the chair umpire at the Monte-Carlo Masters 2021.

At 1-1 in the tie-breaker, the chair umpire called the ball which the Greek brothers believed was out. Thus, the elder brother approached the chair and insisted the chair umpire come down and see the mark. The chair umpire denied his plea. Also, he explained that since they finished the in-debate point, he cannot check the ball mark.

In response, Tsitsipas said, “You are a disgrace. Go back to the futures; that is where you belong.” Hence, the 22-year-old Greek got a court violation.
Furthermore, the 2019 ATP Finals winner demanded to see the supervisor but opted to resume the heated battle soon. Eventually, the Greek brothers won the opening set tie-break and, eventually, the match 6-7 (4), 6-3, 9-11.

In his next match, the 22-year-old will take on the winner between Australian John Millman or Chilean Christian Garin. While Millman knocked out the promising star Ugo Humbert, Garin failed Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Before that, the Greek brothers will play against Guido Pella and Christian Garin. Hopefully, tennis fans will witness some of the best tennis coming off the Greek’s racquet on clay and nothing else.
