He said, “I generally believe if he plays like this, like he played the last weeks, all the time, he’s going to have Slams & be the world #1. Then it comes to how many weeks, how many Slams, stuff like this. Sometimes this wave ends. The question is how often is he going to ride it. When he’s not on the wave, how good he plays. That’s the way tennis is.” 

Along with that, he also talked about how he is currently in a good position with his athletic form. Subsequently, Medvedev also added that there will be a time in the future when the 22-year-old Italian will have Grand Slam titles under his name and even be the top-ranked tennis player.

Shortly after they posed for pictures, the Russian tennis player took Sinner’s trophy and removed the doll without saying anything. Some tennis fans, however, believed that he was likely stealing the doll for his daughter. In addition, some found humor in the incident, but the Italians were confused by Medvedev’s performance at the award ceremony.
