Roger Federer will say goodbye to this tennis career after the Laver Cup this month. The Swiss maestro will bid farewell alongside his fellow players like tennis ace Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, and Novak Djokovic. The 20-time grand slam champion has already started his practice in London for his last tournament.

The former world number one was dealing with a knee injury that stopped him from playing for a year now, but for his last tournament, he is ready to give it a shot and try to end his career on a wonderful note. He underwent three surgeries, thinking it might lessen the pain and thus can play a little longer. But after figuring out it would be difficult, he decided to move on to the next phase. The tennis legend has only played in six events since 2020 because of this knee problem, which has kept him away from the sport for almost three years.
