Stanislas Wawrinka talks about athletes’ mental health and what they go through
Stanislas Wawrinka has been having injury woes since 2017. The Swiss star has been on the sidelines since injuring his foot during a 2017 Wimbledon Championship match. His recent form has been a result of his injury at the Qatar Open earlier this year, where he seriously injured his foot.
“I think there are many things we don’t know about athletes, about what they go through because we always see things about other athletes in front of the TV, when they are playing, when they are the best, we see only a good image. It is also been difficult for, for many of us, including me,” said Wawrinka.
