Former World Number 4 Guy Forget was all praise of Rafael Nadal after his record 14th French Open title. The 36-year-old recently defeated Casper Ruud in the finals of the French Open to win his 22nd Grand Slam title.
In a recent interview, the Frenchman hailed the Spaniard as the greatest athlete of all time. While speaking about his greatness, the Frenchman compared Nadal to legends like Muhammad Ali, Pele, and Michael Jordan.

In the interview, while commenting on Nadal’s prowess, the 57-year-old said that Nadal is an all-time great. Further, he said that not only in tennis but in sports overall, he is the best athlete, greater than even Muhammad Ali, Pele, and Michael Jordan.

To strengthen his claim, the 57-year-old explained how difficult it is to win a French Open trophy and Nadal has done it 14 times. He recalled the time when people used to say that no one can go past Pete Sampras’ record, but the Spaniard surprised everyone.
“A champion who is able to win 14 times the toughest tournament on the planet, the most difficult thing that exists, there are not any. We said when Borg won Roland-Garros six times, it’s monstrous. No one will do better. Sampras has won 14 Grand Slam titles. Nadal has won Roland-Garros 14 times. It’s unimaginable.” He added.
