Recently, the official X (formerly Twitter) page of Tennis Channel shared a clip, where fans spotted Sinner giving an interview post-victory at the Indian Wells tournament 2024. The interviewer asked him about his father’s nervousness about seeing him on the court. In his response, Sinner said- “Oh, he is nervous, he is not just showing it I guess. No, it’s amazing to have him here. It’s a little bit different tournament than we have at the house. We cook together and in evening we watch you know some serials together, which I  missed a lot in the last years. So I haven’t had him around so much. So, it’s great to have him and obviously all the rest of the team you know. It’s just fun to be around with them and so, yeah, it’s awesome.”

Sinner felt pretty happy about his victory. He defeated Shelton by 7-6(4) and 6-1. He further said- “I knew that obviously playing against him there’s not so much rhythm, but I think I can be really proud about how I played, There were tough moments, especially in the first set, and I’m really happy that I won that. Then I obviously started really positive in the second set, which gave me a lot of confidence.”
