The most Wimbledon titles holder asked Tiafoe, “What’s it gonna feel like when you keep winning, get on the side of the court and Roger Federer is watching you play? Nerve-wracking, right?”

The conversation was jovial and both the Tennis stars enjoyed having the talk. The ATP star replied, laughing, “Yeah, definitely, definitely nerve-wracking. You know, in Laver Cup when he is there watching I’m just like Gosh Man! I’ll really miss him again. The fight isn’t terrible.” Tiafoe and Jack Sock played against Federer and Rafael Nadal in Laver Cup. The latter won the match, making it the final major tennis match for the Swiss G.O.A.T.

The twenty-five-year-old continued, “But yeah, I mean, that’s definitely gonna be something. Um, you know, what a legend! It’s still tough that he is not playing. I mean, he is like an icon and so good for the sport. You know, he still looks like a million bucks in that suit. The funny thing is, he looked like that on the court. He’d never sweat. Tiafoe shared something similar and more emotionally moving details of the last match Federer played in the ATP Tennis Radio podcast.

The 2022 US Open runner-up trashed all the debates about who is going to replace the Swiss icon with his statements. Tennis legends hailed Alcaraz as the replacement for ‘The Big 3’, but Tiafoe quashed them all. He said, “I mean, the impact he had on the game is wild. I mean, we are always going to remember Roger Federer. ‘Cause there will never be another one.”

The American star also added that no one’s going to play the game or even carry themselves like ‘King Roger.’ He was amazed by how Federer never had a wrinkle on his shirt. Tiafoe is one of the few players of the present generation who got a chance to play against the eight times Wimbledon title winner.
