Novak Djokovic has continued his impressive run on the tour in the latter half of the season. The 35-year-old has not lost a match since his quarterfinal exit in the French Open 2022. Meanwhile, he had a title run at the Wimbledon Championships and later on Tel Aviv Open and the Astana Open.

Currently featuring in the Paris Masters, the 35-year-old has done incredibly well in his title defense. He had a thrilling semifinal encounter against Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas where he emerged victorious. However, the Serb lost for the first time after the French Open against the Danish tennis star Holger Rune in the finals. In the pre-match press conference, Djokovic gave his views about the young rising star.

In his first match against the 21-time Grand Slam champion, the teenager played well and won a set after conceding the first set to Djokovic. However, the experienced campaigner eased past Rune as he took the next two sets.
