Jannik Sinner of Italy is certainly making a substantial statement this year. After his triumph in Antwerp, the 20-year-old has four hard court titles on the tour in 2021 alone. It’s by far the best season in his young career and even the beaten finalist, Diego Schwartzman sees big things in his future.

Following this emphatic victory, even the Argentinian appreciated Sinner’s high-profile game. In the post-match conference, he said, “Sinner is 20 years old and already having a great career: he won 4 titles this year. Tsitsipas, Zverev and the other guys who are at the top also played at this level at a young age. I don’t compare, but Jannik is destined to reach the top.”
