Do you remember when Rafael Nadal, the Spanish legend, posed for Tommy Hilfiger’s Ad almost a decade back? The 22-time Grand Slam champion posed in his underwear for their ad campaign. And recently, the young Spanish tennis sensation, Carlos Alcaraz, has taken the world by storm by becoming the face of Calvin Klein’s underwear campaign.

Though fans seem to be relating the latest shoot of Alcaraz with Nadal’s Hilfiger one, this isn’t the only feat of his idol that the teenager has replicated. Both the Spaniards claimed the US Open title, being only 19 years old. And since then, tennis fans have seen the reflection of the 22-time Grand Slam champion in the current US Open champion. And the same thing happened when the association between Calvin Klein and the World N0.1 was announced, with the release of snaps of the latter, clad in the renowned fashion house’s merchandise.

The teenage tennis star recently posed in Calvin Klein merchandise for their latest ad campaign. And the snaps of the shoot took the tennis fans back in time. While many were shocked, others compared the World N01 to the former World No.1 and his compatriot, Nadal.

While some fans backed the latest ad campaign of the fashion house, others expressed their displeasure.

And some considered the snaps an attempt of CK to recreate Nadal’s moment with Tommy Hilfiger. And said, “Following in his father’s (Nadal) footsteps”

But some were eerily uncomfortable watching the teenager in just one piece of clothing and tweeted, “I feel like a p*rv watching these. I’m sorry..”

Certainly, the young Spanish sensation is unique in his way. However, one cannot deny the similarities between the two Spaniards.

When Rafael Nadal posed for Tommy Hilfiger 

Back in 2015, the Spaniard brought the world to a stop when he stripped down to ‘undies’ for a Tommy Hilfiger Ad campaign. The 22-time Grand Slam champion, posed in the locker room showing his athletic physique, while shooting for the ad, to celebrate his long association with the brand.
