In the post-match interview, Andrey Rublev sympathized with Rafael Nadal. He mentioned that he can’t even imagine the pressure Rafa feels every time before a match just because he is the best player on clay.

“I can’t imagine how to be in the situation of Rafa, knowing you’re the best player on clay. You have that pressure every time,” said Rublev in the interview.

“I think for him it must be incredibly tough every time,” added the World No.8 player.

“He’s a legend”- Andrey Rublev on Rafael Nadal

Rublev emphasized that he was in total shock after watching Rafa perform so well under such immense pressure. He even reflected that it is not the first time that he is doing so but it is now his habit to not just play but perform well under pressure as well. It is because of all these traits that Rublev called Rafa a legend of the sport.
