‘Insane A**’ List’ Puts Roger Federer in a Controversial League Alongside Adolf Hitler, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, and Beyonce

20-time Grand Slam champion, Roger Federer, in his over two-decade-old career, has been rarely seen involved in an altercation on-court and even off-court. Hence, when Forbes released Wikipedia’s 100 Most Controversial People back in 2016, which featured the likes of Adolf Hitler, Kanye West, Barack Obama, and Britney Spears, among others. It also featured one unexpected name. Guess who?

The Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer also found himself on the same list. The ‘controversial’ Forbes list has been doing rounds since then, and recently, it again gained limelight, for the unconventional presence of Federer on it. Consequently, tennis fans were not pleased with the same. And some took to Twitter to express their shock! While some non-Federer fans had another reason to highlight it.

Roger Federer is considered a man of reason. There were very rare instances when we saw the Swiss tennis legend involved in a war of words with the chair umpire. And hence, his presence on the same list, which contains the likes of the one who shall not be named Adolf Hitler, was bound to shock tennis fans. Therefore, they couldn’t help but question it on Twitter.

 For a fan, it was insane, as he tweets, “Insane ass list.

Some tennis fans questioned the controversial list and asked, “What did my boy Roger Federer do besides being the goat in his craft ?”

While some took the list on a lighter note and said, “This last is cracking me up because what exactly did Roger & Beyoncé do?”

There were a few fans who were heartbroken to see the Swiss legend’s name being taken in the same breath as Hitler,” what the fuck did federer do to be on a list with hitler😭😭😭😭😭😭”

While some Novak Djokovic fans were happy for him, not to be mentioned on the same list as Hitler. And said, “My fav novak will never be in the same list as adolf hitler. He is clear of federer”.

While, there were some non-Federer fans, who thought, that the presence of the Swiss great was meant to be on the list. And said, “as he should. that ball was out fck you roger.”

Certainly, the list was a blast from the past. And Federer fans found it as controversial now as they did back in 2016.
