Arguably one of the greatest tennis players of all time, Roger Federer is currently nursing a knee injury. Last year after the Wimbledon, Federer went through right knee surgery as it became a spot of bother for the Swiss star. Since then, we haven’t seen the Swiss Maestro on the tennis court.
Earlier, the 20-time Grand Slam champion talked about slowly getting back on his feet and recovering well. Federer mentioned why he had to undergo the surgery in a short interview he did at the Super-G ski event in Switzerland.

After undergoing the right knee surgery in August, he wasn’t able to move at all for many months. But slowly, he made a steady recovery and now just waiting to resume his practice on the tennis court again.
“The surgery was the right thing. The knee was no longer good after Wimbledon. It couldn’t go on like this. I’m fine. I walked on crutches for 2 months and had to start all over again.
