Novak Djokovic applauds Carlos Alcaraz after a great season

In a recent interview, Djokovic highlighted that Alcaraz has been phenomenal on the court this year and accomplished some huge milestones. He even mentioned that just like his idol, Rafael Nadal, Alcaraz has already entered the list of the top-30 ATP players despite being so young.

“He’s showing great maturity”- Djokovic on Alcaraz

In the same interview, the Serbian legend hailed Alcaraz’s temperament and consistency on the court. He stated that the rising star has been really impressive and has shown some great signs of maturity as such a young age.

If Carlos turns out to be anything like Rafa, it’ll be a huge achievement for the young Spaniard. And for the sake of tennis fans across the world, we sure hope he does.

Novak Djokovic is currently in Turin, Italy and is playing at the ATP Finals 2021. Interestingly, the World No.1 player recently defeated Casper Ruud in straight sets and got off to a great start. Will he be able to succeed at the ATP Finals for the sixth time this year and end his season on a high?
