Since Carlos Alcaraz announced his appearance in the tennis circuit, he has robbed the tennis legends of the Grand Slams. Novak Djokovic himself, lost 2 Wimbledon finals to the 21-year-old. However, his on-court prowess has also robbed the hearts of millions of tennis fans, who wants to see him win every time he steps on the tennis court. But this time, he has his eyes set somewhere else, and it might rob the female fans of the luxury of the Spaniard being single! Seems like he took Emma Raducanu speculation to his heart!

It all started at the Wimbledon 2024 final. Alcaraz dominated from the get-go to retain his grass court slam against Djokovic. However, tennis fans and media’s attention was stuck somewhere in the stands at Raducanu, who was there to enjoy the final battle. And it didn’t take a lot of time for tennis fans to ship the relationship boat for the duo. Though Alcaraz shied away with a blush and a wry smile, as he said, “I don’t know if she’s come to see the final, if she’s come to see me.” But that’s one side of the story, the Spaniard’s side.

After, almost over a month since the rumors surrounding his relationship status, Alcaraz has something to say, “I don’t have a girlfriend.” He declared in an interview with ABC that the Spanish publication shared on their official X account. This news would certainly bring joy to all the female fans, who are in the stands cheering for him. However, his next words would rob them of the joy, leaving them heartbroken. “But I’m looking for one”- he remarked.

Who would be the one for the ‘prince of clay’? Would be it Raducanu, or someone else, nobody knows. But the hunt for the prefect one is on for Alcaraz. However, it won’t be an easy one, as he had once shared how difficult it would be to sustain a relation being a professional tennis star.  As he had earlier said, “I am looking for someone. It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are traveling all the time.” 

Though not a good news for tennis fans as another heart break awaits them, as and when Alcaraz declares his relationship. Many a times tennis fans have taken it upon themselves to express love and admiration for their idols. Rafael Nadal, Steffi Graf, and Raducanu, among others have enjoyed this special attention with jovial spirit.

Back in time, when Steffi Graf dominated the scene on the tennis court, she had a few moments where a fan yelled his message in the middle. One fan shouted, “Steffi, will you marry me?” For a moment, everyone stood still. But Graff took it in light spirits as she questioned back, “How much money do you have?” bringing a smile to everyone’s face, before resuming the match.

The same incident has happened with Nadal and Federer. Where fans have declared their love, “I love you Rafa/Roger,” in the middle of matches. And the most recent one was with Raducanu, when a young kid proposed to her, “Emma, will you marry me?” at the Royal Albert Hall.

Now Alcaraz has made it official that he is looking for a partner. Would fans follow the same route? Or he will burst the bubble and hearts with the declaration? Would it be Raducanu?
