The US Open final between Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev created a lot of hype among Hollywood, too. Though spotting celebrities is nothing new in tennis, the Flushing Meadows tops the list of celebrity citings. The final match had been a physical battle for the Russian, as Djoker made him sweat for every point. Before the last set, the former World No.1 called for a medical emergency, hoping to make a comeback, but in vain.

Despite his supporters’ standing ovation, Medvedev lost in straight sets as the Serb scripted history. The match has everyone on the edge of their seats, and the most celebrated lovebirds, Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet are no exception. The couple is amazed at how incredible the match is, and Kylie’s reaction makes it obvious.

Jenner and Chalamet have been dating for over five months and have kept it low-key initially. But the couple has been making public appearances since their relationship was confirmed. After attending a dinner at New York Fashion Week a day ago, the Hollywood stars made their way to watch the US Open finals.

Djoker and Medvedev exchanged a handful of long rallies, and the match lasted more than three hours. New York’s humidity seemed tolerable as the match went smoothly without any hot interruption. The finalists of Flushing Meadows kept the audience hooked with their rallies. So, whenever they ended, the lovebirds breathed a sigh of relief and cheered for the winner.

The official account of the US Open took to its Instagram and posted a video of the couple supporting the champions. The caption read, “@kyliejenner & @tchalamet are locked in on this match 😁.”

Novak Djokovic got his perfect revenge after 2 years, along with multiple records

Djokovic played nine finals at the New York major and claimed his 24th Slam in straight sets, 3-6, 6(5)-7(7), 3-6. The irony is that the 36-year-old created the record win at the tournament, where he flourished the least. Among his Grand Slam wins, Djokovic has more Australian Open titles with 10 Slams, and US Open titles stand at the bottom with four titles among the 24.

Despite the humid weather, Djoker and Medvedev put on a great fight, and though the Russian is on the losing side, his impeccable shots shall make a lasting impact. The G.O.A.T. debate would end soon as Djokovic would be the first player in the Open Era to equal the record that hasn’t been touched in half a century.
