And post the announcement, fans started trolling the Spaniard for several reasons; one of them being the less probability of the Serbian ace’s participation.

Fans take a dig at Rafael Nadal for participating in Dubai ATP 500 event after 15 years

For over a decade, Nadal has skipped the aforementioned tournament, and usually went for Acapulco during that week. However, the sudden change in the schedule of the 22-time Grand Slam champion left fans bewildered; prompting them to assume various extraneous reasons for this change. And one of them is to avoid playing with Djokovic.

One of the tennis fans took a dig at the Spaniard, and Tweeted, “Someone told him Novak is playing Acapulco?”
