Nick Kyrgios is a fan favorite tennis player. He provides more than just tennis entertainment to his spectators and many fans even tune into matches solely because of Nick. Kyrgios is such a big and unique personality that you can expect the unexpected every time he takes to the court.

Kyrgios previously said that tennis is a gentleman’s game, and he is trying to bring new energy into it. Well, his infectious energy has certainly touched the home supporters, who are turning out in huge numbers for all of his matches.

Kyrgios knows exactly what he brings to the court

After his unsuccessful singles run, he made a huge stride in the men’s doubles category. Along with Thanasi Kokkinakis, Nick entered the game with massive fan support. The 6th seeds for the tournament, Tim Putz-Michael Venus, were favorite to win the match, but they were beaten by the Australian partnership in the quarter-final.

After a 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 win in the quarters, they will now face 3rd seeded Granollers and Zeballos pair on Thursday.

After the match, Kyrgios retweeted one of his clips from the game and added the caption that, “My energy is unmatched.” Throughout the Slam, the crowds have loved every minute of Kyrgios action on the courts.

Though Nick Kyrgios was eliminated in the 2nd round by Daniil Medvedev in the singles category, he was very much energetic in those matches as well. Medvedev was constantly “bood” by the crowd, but the World No. 2 kept his composure and won the match. Daniil also pointed out the exceptional crowd support that Kyrgios can pull with his on-court style.

He brings the crowd into the game with his actions and underarm serves. “As long as I am playing this sport and playing in Australia, you sure will have a show,” he said after the game.

When an interviewer asked Nick about the “wild” crowd support he is getting, he replied that the Aussie crowd had gone through a lot; they are now getting many Australian players having success. What do you make of his run at the Slam so far?
