Defending champion Novak Djokovic was off to a shaky start in his first-round win. However, the 20-time Grand Slam champion will look forward to strengthening his grip in the second-round match.
The Serb will be up against the challenge of 26-year-old Aussie Thanasi Kokkinakis. Playing in his fifth Wimbledon championship, Kokkinakis finally got through to the second round of the tournament. Earlier in his four appearances, the 26-year-old failed to qualify twice, while he lost in the first round in the remaining two.
