Netflix recently came up with its much-awaited tennis documentary ‘Break Point’. While a section of fans are happy with the way it depicts the day-to-day life and challenges of tennis stars, a few are not impressed. As it covers the daily life of tennis players, the close family and friends of tennis stars also feature in the documentary. It is something a lot of tennis fans are not happy with.
A few from the tennis community also pointed it out to be the reason they didn’t like the documentary. Belgian number one David Goffin also shares similar views regarding the excessive focus on Nick Kyrgios and his girlfriend. Here’s what he said.

There was a lot of excitement brewing among the fans ever since the release of the trailer of the Netflix documentary, Break Point. While the fans were unsurprisingly excited, the tennis stars also looked forward to it. However, as it turned out, a few believe that it focuses too much on a handful of players and their personal lives.

Kyrgios has been the target of fans ever since the trailer of Break Point came out on YouTube. In the trailer, we can hear Kyrgios talking about the expectation and pressure of being the next big thing in tennis. After the release of the trailer, fans called out the Aussie for the same.
While most of fans agree that Kyrgios is one of the best players in the world currently, they refused to consider him the next big thing. The primary reason they gave for trolling the Aussie was his age. Kyrgios is going to turn 28 in a few months and he is still to win his first Grand Slam title.
