As Zverev and Medvedev walked to their benches for the break, Kyrgios said “When you look at people who have had sex… success against Medvedev,” Kyrgios began. “You know [Carlos] Alcaraz, every time he plays against him he’s moving forward taking all those volleys, taking time away – it’s crucial.”

Nick Kyrgios’ co-commentator Brett Haber was quick to joke about the explicit verbal slip-up, telling Kyrgios “Welcome to your first viral Tennis Channel moment.” Initially, Kyrgios didn’t realize it, however, after the awkward moment, Kyrgios seemed to appreciate the humor behind his profane mistake, laughing and responding “Oh I think I know – that’s hilarious.”
