Nick Kyrgios is no stranger to controversies. Earlier this year, he smashed his racket in frustration on the tennis court after losing against Rafael Nadal at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. However, he smashed his racket so hard that it came agonizingly close to hitting the ball boy. Later, Kyrgios apologized for his actions.
Recently, Kyrgios was involved in another controversy, albeit off-the-court this time around. His neighbor took to social media and slammed him indirectly for his incorrect car parking method. Subsequently, Kyrgios took to Instagram to apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Nick Kyrgios makes amends and apologizes for his incorrect car parking
The 27-year-old posted a story on his official Instagram handle, saying, “Hi there, I’ve parked in the right spot. I’ve made amends. Sorry for my inconvenient parking for one day.” After his incorrect car parking method went viral, it didn’t go down well with him. He posted another Instagram story with a sarcastic caption, reading, “Haha nothing to talk about it Australia other than where Nick Kyrgios parks. Y’all are funny.”

It all started when his neighbor took to Facebook to share the inconvenience caused due to Kyrgios’ incorrect car parking. The neighbor shared a series of pictures of Kyrgios’ lime green Tesla Model X car, saying, “Looking for some advice here, it’s a tricky one, we have a car share allocated spot right out the front of our apartment building. Recently a very well known famous and quite notorious tennis player has decided that he is somehow entitled to park in it with his own vehicle.”

On the tennis front, Kyrgios has had a decent start to the 2022 season. He won the Australian Open men’s doubles title, partnering with compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis. Further, he had a memorable run at the Sunshine Double. Kyrgios reached the quarterfinals and the pre-quarterfinals in Indian Wells and Miami, respectively.
Recently, the Australian revealed that he will miss the French Open this year. However, he intends to play in Paris next season.
