The Ukrainian tennis professional Alexandr Dolgopolov is one of the most cherished players in the world of tennis. Although he doesn’t hold records like the big three, his presence and style of playing always took the audience’s attention.
The fun-loving pony-tailed Ukrainian has taken a permanent break from the game owing to a persistent knee injury. However, because of the dramatic turn of events, he came back into action. Though this time it isn’t tennis that called for him.

Alexandr Dolgopolov Wrote From Ukraine
The former top-20 player actively addressed the matter ever since the conflict came into existence. Following that, when tensions turned into war, he jumped right into supporting his county, and on March 2022, Alexandr enrolled himself in the army. Recently, he expressed his gratefulness on Twitter for the help provided by the US. He wrote, “Out for testing, thanks for the helmet and aid pack to our friends from the US. Please save every Ukrainian defender and big thanks to them.”

Alexandr Dolgopolov is not cut out for the purpose he is currently serving which he himself admitted by saying, “Once, the husband of my sister took me shooting, and I was terrible, I couldn’t put one bullet in the bottles we were shooting at. I said it’s not my thing and that I’m a peaceful person.”
