But beyond the grand slams, the titles, and the records, there lies a another chapter in Federer’s life that is dedicated towards the betterment of the kids and the future of the game.

Reflecting on the same, Roger Federer, in a recent interview with GQ reflected on his visions for the upcoming generation.  The 20-time grand slam winner also sheds on his partnership with Mercedes and how it would help upcoming kids to pursue their dreams.

In an interview with GQ, tennis legend Roger Federer revealed his vision that made fans adore him even more. Beyond the milestones that he accomplished on the courts, Federer is using his love for the game towards a noble cause – supporting young tennis players and their access to public tennis courts.

Federer announced that he will be partnering up with Mercedes in an initiative to nurture the future of the kids and give them access to proper tennis courts. These courts will provide the kids a chance to get to know more about the game while falling in love with it.

‘The future of “my sport” and our youth is very important to me. I want the children to go out, exercise and have a place where they can forget their problems for a match or two. It’s about creating a safe retreat where you can always meet up with friends. A special place for society,’ said Federer in the interview with GQ.

Federer’s commitment to this cause shows his dedication to the sport’s future and his desire to provide young players with a place where they can forget their problems, if only for a match or two. His partnership with Mercedes reflects a vision of creating a brighter future for aspiring tennis stars, one court renovation at a time.
