However, the Spanish tennis player, who was on the sidelines after undergoing surgery, is now all set to make a robust ATP comeback. Ahead of his much-awaited return to the tour, the 22-time singles Grand Slam champion recently shared a piece of delightful news for fans.

The tennis community can’t keep quiet as the ‘King of the Clay’ has confirmed his participation in the first Grand Slam event of the new season. Adding to their excitement, Nadal is giving fans an incredible opportunity to meet him in person ahead of his comeback on the court.

After a lengthy hiatus, the 22-time singles Grand Slam champion will be back on the court at the Australian Open warm-up event in Brisbane. Before his stellar return to the men’s tour, Rafael Nadal has decided to organize a meet-and-greet event for his fans who are curious to see him in the city of Australia.

In their latest announcement, Brisbane International revealed that the 37-year-old player will take part in a special event to celebrate the return of the highly anticipated tournament. The officials stated, “The  22-time Grand Slam champion will make an appearance at Queen Street Mall stage at 10am, providing fans with the chance to see him up close and personal ahead of his opening-round match.”

Fans will now surely be excited to see Nadal in person ahead of his opening match at the Brisbane International. But that’s not all; they will also get to ask questions, as the Spaniard will participate in a Q&A panel.

The Brisbane International also announced that the former number 1 player will be joined by tournament director Cameron Pearson for a Q&A session with fans. On top of a meet-and-greet and Q&A session, Nadal will also sign tennis balls for some fans at the Queen Street Mall stage in Brisbane.
