Recently, Nadal’s uncle, Toni Nadal, revealed his wish for his nephew for the upcoming Paris Olympic Games.

Nadal was still in the early stages of his career in 2008. Winning on the sport’s biggest stage was a cherry on the cake for him. Here’s what Toni Nadal had to say about this victory.

Earlier this week, the uncle and childhood coach of Nadal appeared in an interview. During that conversation, he talked about Nadal’s chances at the Paris Olympic Games later this year. Additionally, he also wanted Nadal to win the tournament.

In another interview, Toni Nadal was asked about the retirement rumors surrounding his nephew. Nadal is 37 and in the final stages of his tennis career. Toni Nadal made a major revelation on the former World Number One’s retirement plans.

He said, “I think Rafael is going to go day by day, depending on how things are going, depending on how competitive it is, the results… Although he has said that this may be his last year, then we have to see how it goes.”
