Former world No.1 Jimmy Connors and his son Brett Connors run a podcast called ‘Advantage Connors’ where the two of them do an episode with a celebrity and run them through questions about the sport, their personal life, or an ongoing topic. Recently, the Connors discussed various things about their personal life, including an endearing experience concerning their food preferences.
One of the things that stood out was Jimmy Connors’ love for food from the Midwest and his wife also became big on the food after learning to cook the same from his mother.

Jimmy Connors quotes an example of his wife to show his love for Midwest culinary food
During a recent episode of Advantage Connors, Jimmy Connors talked about his career before and how things have changed now. Further, they continued to talk about food and the things he loves from the Midwest, giving an example of his wife.
He shared an instance from the past. Connors mentioned, “I’m a Midwest connoisseur of food, When I got married to your mom, your mom fell into that so fast. Because when we would go back to see my mom in Belleville, and she would cook for me, your mom was so on that. And she says, “Is that what he likes? How do you cook that? How do I make that? You think my kids would like that?” She was so on that. And so, for 45 years, you know, I’ve continued.”
The way Jimmy Connors talks about food is not limited to the podcast channel here. He also posts various food-related videos on the YouTube channel of Advantage Connors with new recipes all the time.
Connors goes all in when it comes to food
In the podcast, Brett Connors also talked about the Connors Kitchen segment, which was about Connors cooking in videos and posting on their YouTube channel. They have not been doing a lot of those videos now. The last video they did was 2 years ago and so the fans wanted to know when he would start the same thing again.
