Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer walked on the red carpet of the 96th Academy Awards sporting an elegant look. After his 2016 appearance, Federer was spotted attending the Oscars 2024 with his wife, Mirka Federer. The duo were dressed sharply and Federer oozed class as he donned a white tux and shades, with the latter having a story of their own.

Federer showcased the luxury eyewear brand, Oliver Peoples to the Oscars for the first time. Last year, Federer revealed that he had signed a lucrative deal with this 63-million-dollar eyewear brand. Showcasing their sunglasses, Roger Federer graced the red carpet at the Oscars for the second time.

The Swiss tennis legend took to his official Instagram platform’s story, where he shared his new look donning a black Oliver Peoples wayfarer sunglasses. Federer was looking dashing in a white coat detailed with a black bow tie. The image presented Roger Federer as Oliver Peoples’s new brand face.

Federer shared another clip on his next story, where Federer was asked by an individual whether he was ready to go to the Oscars and he replied with a firm “yes.” After this, fans saw him walking with absolute charm and being a pro model for Oliver Peoples.

Last year in an interview with GQ, Federer revealed, that he’s inked a deal with Oliver Peoples that will see the American eyewear brand and Federer’s RF line dropping co-designed pieces soon. At the Oscars 2024, fans got a first-hand look at what this partnership has to offer with the 20-time Grand Slam winner himself sporting the sunglasses.

This wasn’t the first time Federer charmed the guests of the Oscars, he did that in 2o16 too. At the 88th Academy Awards, fans spotted him trying a tequila shot on the red carpet. Meanwhile, Federer’s presence at this year’s Academy Awards highlighted another significant brand.

Roger Federer’s Oscars 2024 look was complimented by Rolex’s biggest launch of the last year

From an all-white tux to black Prada Pants and signature Oliver Peoples shades, Federer was giving tough competition to Hollywood celebrities. He complemented his looks by donning the Rolex Daytona 100th Anniversary of Le Mans edition.

It was the company’s special edition timepiece for celebrating the luxurious 24 hours of Le Mans, an endurance motorsport race in France, which is held annually. It was first launched at last year’s Watches and Wonders event. The Rolex Daytona features a reverse panda dial with contrasting white indices, a nod to the vintage iterations of the iconic Daytona series and is presented in a 40mm diameter case.
