Meta has launched a new app as an alternative to Twitter. The app is called Instagram Threads, and the interface is similar to Twitter’s. It has been three days since the app was launched, and it already gained 10 million plus users. Meta has fixed the target of 1 Billion and decided not to feature any advertisements till then. From commoners to celebrities, people are exploring the app, and the memes about it are only adding to its publicity. Among the ones in the tennis fraternity, Andre Agassi switched to the new app earlier than the youngsters.

Recently, Roger Federer too created an account, and fans are already going crazy. The Swiss star even interacted with a fan and is quite active on the platform.

A fan gets an apt reply from Roger Federer

‘The Swiss Maestro’ created an account on the Threads app hours ago and dropped his first thread that read, “Am I late to the party? 🤓🥸🤔.” This called for lightening fast responses from fans all around the world as they were all eager to answer the question and greet the tennis legend on his arrival to the platform that is still alien to most people.

‘King Roger’ turned his kittenish side on as he responded to clever puns on the new social media platform. A user commented, “Roger Threaderer.” This comment caught the attention of all the other users, including the Swiss legend.

Jelena Dokic, former player and commentator, replied, “Yes but welcome anyway😂😊.” Dokic joined the new platform before Federer did. So she jokingly labeled him as a latecomer.
