Kyrgios’ awful performance at Laver Cup
The Aussie started his Laver Cup with the opening match against Word No. 3, Stefanos Tsitsipas. The latter dominated throughout the match and was an eventual winner with a score of 6-3, 6-4.
In his second match, he partnered with America’s John Isner for the doubles event. The pair graciously won the first set against Stefanos Tsitsipas/Andrey Rublev. However, the experienced duo from Team Europe took the match deep and were victorious in the end.

As of now, Kyrgios has decided to withdraw from the rest of the 2021 season. However, it would really be fascinating to see whether the Australian will return for the 2022 season.
