Thanksgiving often brings out the best in us. With the festive season officially kicked off, tennis legend Jimmy Connors had to get back to his game. While he hasn’t stepped into the pitch professionally since 1996, the five-time US Open winner is also equally comfortable in the kitchen. In a recent video, the former ATP rank no. 1 player once again flaunted his cooking skills and we feel hungry just from the looks.
Connors’ Kitchen has whipped up some incredible meals over the years and his fans can’t get enough of his recipes. In his latest post on X (formerly Twitter), Jimmy Connors has given us a sneak peek into the menu of the Connors family for Thanksgiving while looking radiant.
Tennis legend whips up a hearty meal

The two-time Wimbledon winner has posted a short video clip showcasing Thanksgiving dinner at his home- “Finally back in the kitchen, forgot how fun it was!” Jimmy Connors looked particularly pleased by the fact that he was back in the kitchen after a long time. Connors said the family likes to “…do everything from scratch“.

He showed a glimpse of the main attraction of the feast: the turkey, well-glazed and looking like a sumptuous feast. They also had green beans sizzling on the stove while the potatoes were getting ready to turn into mush.

Connors said he loves the mashed potatoes because he feels like it helps him to vent. That might be worth a chuckle but given how the tennis legend’s forehand was, it might not be a joke for the boiling potatoes.

While the turkey might be the star of the show, the former world no. 1 admitted homemade rolls are what tickles his fancy. Connors said his special rolls took about an hour of kneading and making the dough before they were slid into the oven to become the sweet delight that they are. Afterward, the tennis legend with a record 109 titles to his name, wished his fans a happy Thanksgiving before sitting down with his family for dinner. However, Connors also added a touching act by remembering a sad day from the past.

Not just cooking Thanksgiving dinner, Jimmy Connors possesses an equal amount of love for each and every individual in his family. Recently Connors shared his deepest sadness remembering his elder brother John Connors on his death anniversary. Remembering his brother, Jimmy Connors tweeted- “Thinking of my brother- John- today— 1 year since his passing- thanks for always being there… miss you Bro !!”
