Rafael Nadal announced his comeback to the sport barely a month ago and all his fans got excited to see the Spanish superstar back in action yet again. The Spaniard, before going to the Australian Open announced that he would be playing in the Brisbane International. Playing his round of 32 match against Austrian Dominic Thiem, the Spaniard showed no signs of struggle and went ahead to win the match comfortably. With the win, he announced his arrival in style.

As soon as the news of his win took to the internet, his fans could not stop gushing about the Spaniard as the excitement and the emotions flowed like a river. With the win, the 22-time grand slam winner made his way into the final 16.

A recent video shared on Twitter showed an incredible rally between Rafael Nadal and his opponent Dominic Thiem. While the Spaniard won this rally and secured a crucial point, fans came up and showed nothing but appreciation for the legend. One fan came ahead and suggested that the gameplay that the two showed in the incredible rally was much better than any grand slam match. “Much better than 2023 Grandlam Finals,” said the fan.

Next, this fan came in and suggested that Nadal’s forehand is probably the best in the world. “Nadal’s forehand… best thing in the world?” said the fan.

Another fan came in and suggested that his IDOL was finally back on the court playing some mind-blowing shorts. “MY IDOL IS BACK,” said the fan.

Last, but not least, this fan came in and suggested that watching Nadal play at this level looks like he never left tennis. “Looks like he never left….Rafa! Take a bow!” said the fan.

Thus, Rafael Nadal’s comeback was dealt with great anticipation from the fans as they were happy to see their favorite hero back on the court after nearly a year.

Playing in his first match after return, Nadal showed no signs of stopping as he went ahead to claim an easy win against his Austrian counterpart.

Rafael Nadal, upon his arrival to tennis, secured an easy win over his opponent Thiem. While many expected that his return would not be as good as many would have thought, the Spaniard surprised everyone with a straight-sets victory over Thiem. The final score line of the match remained 7-5, 6-1 in his favor.

With 90% and 86% wins on the first and second serves respectively, he showed how lethal his serves have been. Not only this but with 5 straight sets won, he showed his real stature on the court. Apart from this, he managed to win 61 points throughout the match and secured 13 games in his favor. With a spot in the round of 16 secured, he will be looking to keep his form alive and advance to the quarters of the tournament.
