Roger Federer said goodbye to professional tennis this season. The 20 times Grand Slam champion appeared in the Laver cup for one last time and walked out of the sport. He, alongside his biggest rival and good friend Rafael Nadal, played his last match.

Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray joined hands to represent Team Europe alongside the 2022 French Open and US Open finalist Casper Ruud, Cameron Norrie, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Matteo Berrettini.
However, unlike the last four seasons, this time, Europe failed to clinch the trophy in London. 21-times Grand Slam champion Djokovic‘s and former world no.3 Tsitsipas’ also were defeated on 25th September.

Team World won the trophy for the first time with Frances Tiafoe, Taylor Fritz, Felix Auger Aliassime, Jack Sock, Alex De Minaur, and Diego Schwartzman as their soldiers. Also, captain John McEnroe lifted his first Laver Cup.
