It’s no doubt that Roger Federer is one of the greatest athletes of all time. Apart from that, he is also one who has given his fair share back to the world through his foundation. In 2003, he created the Roger Federer Foundation with a desire to help the needy, especially in Africa and Switzerland.

In the past, his foundation helped many underprivileged kids with their early education, mainly in the regions of South Africa. Recently, the Roger Federer foundation helped some schoolkids in Switzerland, and in return, they gave the Swiss Maestro a lovely surprise.

Schoolkids sang The Beatles song for Roger Federer

In Emmen, Lucerne (a village in Switzerland) Roger Federer opened a new playground for schoolkids. Later, a video surfaced on social media, where we saw those schoolkids singing The Beatles song, ‘with a little help from my friends’ in Swiss German. You can watch the video below.

Indeed, it was a wholesome moment for the Swiss tennis star, as he absolutely enjoyed the gesture by the school kids. Later, he thanked all those children for their amazing performance.

It is also worth noting that Federer’s foundation has been doing some lovely things, especially for children. Earlier in April, Federer visited the African country Malawi, where he met with the minister of gender. During his visit, he donated around 3000 tablets to help the children with their early education.

It is also worth mentioning that Federer has not played any matches on the tour since losing to Hubert Hurkacz in the quarter-final of last year’s Wimbledon. Since then, he underwent knee surgery, which forced him out of the tour for around a year now. However, he returned to the tennis court with a bunch of kids in Malawi, which was a priceless moment to see for all the kids from the country.
