Roger Federer is the most loved entity in the world of tennis. The Swiss star draws the adoration of the crowd wherever he goes. There were similar scenes like this at the Laver Cup recently. The 20 Grand Slam champion was seen sitting in the stands. The crowd went wild cheering for the legend. He went to the game played between Casper Ruud and Reilly Opelka.

There was an absolutely cheerful group of fans who went wild after spotting Roger. Although everyone wanted to see him on the court, people were just as happy when he graced them with his presence. Roger co-founded the event itself. He has played a major role in creating this interesting event and getting the show on the road. 

Nadal, Federer, and Djokovic missing from Laver Cup 2021

This is the first time that the ‘Big 3’ have been missing from this event. They have been a major attraction for the fans since the event first took place in 2017. Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have both been suffering from injuries this year. Federer has missed a major chunk of the season due to his problems in his knee. 

There has been a lot of speculation about the retirement of Nadal and Federer. On the other hand, Federer cleared the doubts and is currently working for the next season. The Maestro has exceeded all expectations and is still playing at an elite-level.

There were loud roars for the maestro the whole time. It seemed like the fans were ignoring who was playing on the court. Rather, everyone was just focused on the legend who was sitting in the sands. The entire tennis fanbase is eager to see him back in action as soon as possible.
