Nadal successfully competed against some tough competitors at the Swedish Open for long hours. And everyone seemed to be delighted with the result, not the one where he lost the final. But the fact that he was able to play an intensive match for 4 hours, and came back unharmed. A rare sight in the last 2 years. However, it seems things took a wrong turn during practice in Paris.
It started as a rumor, before Moya came out to clarify the status. And it wasn’t to brush away the rumor but in line with it. Nadal’s fitness had taken a hit, and everyone was worried. As Moya said, “It was a setback, and we decided that today Rafa would rest and not train to recover. We are going to give ourselves 48 hours. We have to wait.” Now the rumor has taken the course of confusion with Alcaraz’s 4 word update.
