No.12 in the WTA rankings, Raducanu recently talked to Elle UK about her dream doubles partner at Wimbledon. “Just once in my life, I’d love to play doubles with Andy Murray at Wimbledon. Previously also, the Brit talked about getting all the insights from Murray about tennis. Moreover, she liked the idea of having 2-time Wimbledon champion by her side for future tournaments. Is it possible for Murray to grant Emma’s wish to play doubles at Wimbledon this year? We will have to wait and see.

Raducanu lost her momentum since winning the US Open in 2021

Last year, she achieved great success when she won the US Open title at just 18. Moreover, she was the first qualifier to win a Grand Slam tournament. However, since then, she completely lost her momentum as a tennis player. Also, she suffered a lot of unfortunate injuries during that time period.

Earlier, she didn’t have a great Australian Open, as she lost in the second round. Before the French Open, she played a few tournaments, like the Stuttgart Open, Madrid Open, and the Italian Open. She only looked good at the Stuttgart Open, where she reached the quarter-final.

But that was the only good result for her during the entire clay-court season. Then, she suffered a back issue at the Madrid Open and then pulled out during her first match at the Italian Open.
